We are looking for a dynamic Account Manager who will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. You will be responsible for driving sales and profitability growth in the healthcare sector, ensuring operational excellence, and implementing supply chain initiatives tailored to the needs of non-acute facilities.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Advancing sales and profitability growth within your assigned territory.
- Establishing an executive presence with key stakeholders.
- Driving operational excellence by implementing supply chain initiatives.
- Managing daily service needs and facilitating routine customer transactions.
- Collecting and reporting data to support business initiatives.
- Coordinating resources to enhance mutual profitability and create value.
- Assisting with process improvement projects for enhanced efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare sales is desired.
- Exceptional planning, forecasting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization abilities, with mastery of MS Office.
- Proven relationship-building skills with the ability to influence decisions.
- Experience in supply chain or distribution is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical-surgical and lab products is a plus.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel regionally 25%-50% of the time.
- Conduct onsite visits with corporate headquarters and/or non-acute sites 3-4 times per week, as agreed upon with customers.
Your Impact:
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for sales, problem resolution, and project identification.
- Identify and track customer pain points, translating them into actionable solutions.
- Ensure effective distribution of Cardinal Health products while identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Manage product mix to favor more efficient vendors and improve profitability.
- Present quarterly business reviews that are beneficial for all parties involved.
- Engage across various management levels to drive policies and procedures that achieve goals.
- Oversee multiple supply chain projects focusing on optimization and process improvement.
- Make recommendations for inventory management based on analytics.
- Establish strong relationships with supplier partners to enhance clinical product support.
- Provide consistent updates on progress toward goals and objectives.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: $123,000 - $143,870 (includes targeted variable pay). Bonus eligibility is included. Cardinal Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
