What started as two Cheba Hut restaurants in Fort Collins, Colorado has grown into 19 franchised restaurants throughout Colorado and Nevada today. SUMMARY

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. An Accounting Specialist should be highly organized with strong attention to detail. Must have the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. A successful Accounting Specialist will ensure the company's daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department.
Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
Enter key data of financial transactions in the accounting system daily.
Manage accounts payable process.
Maintain vendor records.
Research, track, and restore accounting documentation and discrepancies.
Assist and support company personnel.
Constantly update job knowledge.

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND IE

Proven 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a restaurant environment.
Proficient in accounting software and POS systems.
Data entry and word processing skills.
High school degree is required.
Associate degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Must have access to a personal vehicle for work use and have a valid, current driver's license.
Must have access to a personal computer/laptop for work use, as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Ability to work well under mentally stressful situations.
Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours per day.
Must be able to work on a computer for up to 8 hours per day.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Overtime may be required.
Must be able to meet at our Denver, Colorado office as needed.
