Accounting Specialist for Service Department

Belknap Plumbing Systems, Inc. is a growing company that provides plumbing construction and service throughout the Houston area. We are located in the Willowbrook area and have a casual business atmosphere.

We are currently seeking a sharp individual with a minimum of 3 years accounts payable and accounts receivable experience. Experience with AP/AR in Service Titan is a must. The ideal candidate must be very organized, have attention to detail, excellent data entry skills, able to multi-task, and have customer service experience. Candidate must have good communication skills when speaking to vendors and customers. There will be daily communication with the vendors and customers as well as working with the service manager and controller to coordinate payments to vendors and from customers.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Entering vendor and customer invoices into Service Titan accounting system and auditing before sending for approval

Ensuring all invoices are approved by managers and service estimators within the
department before sending final copies to customers and vendors

Requesting missing invoices and delivery tickets from vendors

Matching delivery tickets to invoices

Maintain accounts payable and receivable balances are accurate at all times

Setting up new vendors, requesting W-9 s

Maintaining Accounts Payable and Receivable paid and unpaid files

Help input and keep track of vehicle inventory

In addition to these AP/AR duties you will be asked to fill in at times and assist with answering incoming calls, scheduling service requests, and assisting customers with research on existing invoices and or jobs.
