Addiction Medicine Specialist

We are excited to invite passionate board certified/board eligible psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists to become a part of our dedicated team. This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals who have experienced catastrophic work-related injuries, while also addressing important mental health conditions that can affect their recovery process.

Position Highlights:

• Focus on a wide range of severe work-related injuries, including musculoskeletal injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, burn injuries, amputations, and polytrauma.
• Address co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, acute stress/post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorders.
• Work with patients across various acuity levels: acute, subacute, and non-acute.
• Develop and oversee individualized care coordination plans tailored to each injured worker, in line with evidence-based practices.
• Present comprehensive care plans effectively to clients and clinical staff.
• Engage in collaborative communication with other providers regarding injured worker patients, participating in peer-to-peer discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings as required.
• Partner with a care coordinator nurse who will assist with care planning and coordination efforts.
