Advanced Clinical Nurse - Elective Orthopedics

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute physician orders and administer medications, ensuring precise documentation in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and enhance patient care.
• Identify patient needs and evaluate their responses to the delivered care.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment for effective patient care management.
• Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
• Administer both over-the-counter and prescribed medications as per orders.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop individualized care plans.
• Guide and direct ancillary personnel while upholding nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Must possess a current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Obtain and maintain certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
• Exceptional communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles and the capability to implement them in patient care settings.
