Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, initiate necessary diagnostic procedures, and craft personalized health strategies
  • Diagnose and manage acute or chronic conditions either collaboratively with physicians or independently, as permitted
  • Guide patients and their families in health promotion, illness prevention, and chronic disease management
  • Prescribe treatments and medications aligning with your area of expertise
  • Engage in ongoing patient management and follow-up care
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee an integrated approach to healthcare
  • Ensure meticulous documentation and record-keeping in electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Mandatory Certifications
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Colorado
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (must obtain within 90 days)
