Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61

Salary Range per Hour: $36.73 - $60.93

About the Unit: The Colorectal Surgery and Urology Unit features 22 semi-private rooms dedicated to caring for patients recovering from colorectal and urologic surgeries. Join our team and make a significant impact on patient recovery!

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform various treatments and procedures.
• Assess and evaluate patients' conditions by ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide compassionate care, focusing on the patients' progress toward discharge.
• Guide and supervise ancillary personnel to ensure high standards of professional nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional academic nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
• Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC is mandatory.
• A commitment to continuing education to enhance job performance.
