Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Apartment Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our apartment communities. In this crucial role, you will ensure operational efficiency and profitability while providing outstanding customer service to our residents. Your leadership will directly contribute to maximizing revenue potential and enhancing resident satisfaction.

The Apartment Community Manager will:

  • Manage all property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and resident relations.
  • Create and implement innovative marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to analyze rental rates and maintain competitive pricing.
  • Hire, train, supervise and inspire a team of leasing consultants, maintenance technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure efficient completion of work orders, move-ins, and maintenance requests.
  • Oversee the lease renewal process, negotiate lease terms, and enhance resident retention.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Maintain precise financial records, prepare budgets, and analyze financial performance.
  • Address resident concerns to foster a positive community atmosphere.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Have previous experience as a Property Manager in the multifamily apartment industry (highly preferred).
  • Hold a high school diploma; post-secondary education in business or property management is preferred.

  • Exhibit exceptional computer skills, including strong verbal, mathematical, and reasoning abilities.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Display effective leadership, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Possess excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Utilize internet, email, and social media effectively for community marketing.
  • Understand property management software (e.g., Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, Resman).
  • Possess knowledge of business practices and principles.
  • Handle multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain composure under stress.
  • Respect and uphold confidentiality.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to clients, the Regional Manager, and the accounting department.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
