Assistant Manager - Restaurant

Your main duties will include:

• Training, managing, and coaching Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops.
• Assigning tasks to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food service.
• Monitoring compliance with our employee handbook and operational policies.
• Carrying out restaurant opening and closing duties effectively.
• Adjusting staffing levels and inventory to meet operational standards.
• Performing weekly inventories as needed.
• Assisting with administrative tasks, including maintaining necessary documentation.
• Fostering a strong customer service ethos, responding promptly to guest requests, and resolving complaints effectively.

What we require:

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A general understanding of restaurant or retail operations.
• A minimum of six months of experience in restaurant management or one year in entry-level retail management.
• Strong communication skills along with basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Commitment to grooming and uniform standards that reflect SONIC's image.
