Overview of Responsibilities
As the Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in guiding customers towards healthier choices through outstanding service and effective team leadership. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Vitamin/HBA Manager in optimizing department merchandising for increased productivity and profit.
- Overseeing inventory control, product quality, and the supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
- Coordinating production, merchandising, and sales through effective planning and teamwork.
- Assisting in leading a team focused on delivering top-quality products and unforgettable customer experiences.
- Ensuring customers receive exceptional assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products.
- Maintaining an extensive knowledge of health and wellness products to guide customers effectively.
- Helping to recruit, hire, develop, and motivate the Vitamin team.
- Processing store deliveries efficiently.
- Upholding company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications
To succeed as an Assistant Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 1 year of experience in vitamins, homeopathy, or holistic health, alongside leadership responsibilities.
- Demonstrate reliability and flexibility with the ability to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exhibit friendly behavior and a positive attitude to engage effectively with customers.
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
- Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards.
- Show a willingness to learn about new products and alternative health methods.
- Have strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Be capable of maneuvering a ladder, utility cart, and walking significant distances throughout the shift.
- Be prepared to take on additional related duties as assigned.
