Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet has an immediate opening for an Associate Digital Advertising Manager.
We manufacture the most luxurious outdoor kitchens in the world and are passionate about the boundless possibilities of outdoor cooking and entertaining. Headquartered in Chicago's West Loop and with manufacturing and R&D in Galesburg, Michigan, we are expanding rapidly and are looking for a team-oriented specialist in paid digital marketing.
As the Associate Digital Advertising Manager, your primary focus will be the execution, analysis, and optimization of paid digital campaigns to grow brand awareness, lead generation, and conversions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with paid search, programmatic advertising, paid social and analytics platforms. With time in the role, the successful candidate will take the lead on ideation and testing for new campaigns.
In addition, there will be a broad range of responsibilities across our digital team and the opportunity to develop digital marketing skills in new areas.
Primary Digital Advertising Responsibilities:
Creates the overall strategy for digital advertising campaigns in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Director.
Executes paid digital strategy, including paid search, programmatic display and video, and paid social channels.
Sets up campaigns, builds audiences, creates testing plans, and performs campaign analysis, optimizing campaigns over time.
Writes and tests digital ads that are consistent with strategic initiatives and brand positioning, establishes relevant keyword lists, identifies key audiences, and collaborates with the content team to optimize landing pages.
Works with internal and external graphic designers to source needed creative.
Provides daily oversight of campaign performance, bidding, pacing, and issue resolution.
Monitors digital ad spend and recommends budgets.
Provides actionable reporting and insights on paid campaigns and overall digital performance to the marketing team and organization as a whole.
Ancillary Digital Marketing Responsibilities:
Collaborates with the marketing team in creating and executing programs to enhance customer experience
Assists the team in the measurement and analysis of both online and offline marketing programs
Develops an understanding of NetSuite and our MarTech stack to target leads appropriately
2+ years managing paid search campaigns across multiple accounts at an agency or brand, with quantifiable positive results.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Ads and Facebook/Instagram Ads, including campaign creation/management/testing, keyword selection, audience selection, goal creation, and reporting.
Strong understanding of the digital environment and how channels work together across integrated campaigns both online and offline, as well as attribution concepts.
Strong analytical skills and a natural affinity for numbers; ability to analyze data, draw insights, and develop actionable recommendations.
Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Quick learner with a willingness to contribute in areas outside of the job description.
Effective time management skills and ability to respond to changing priorities swiftly.
Strong computer skills including Excel, Google Analytics, CMS systems, Marketing Automation software.
