Audit Intern Position

Join our team as an Audit Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience and apply your academic knowledge to real-world accounting tasks. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our accounting department.

What You'll Do

• Shadow experienced professionals in the accounting department to observe and learn their daily operations.
• Assist with essential tasks such as research, filing, data entry, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and various documents.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion.
• Engage in collaborative efforts as part of an accounting team focused on serving our firm and clients.
• Take on additional projects and tasks to deepen your understanding of accounting principles and office functions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, with completion of a corporate or individual taxation class required.
• Working towards eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation (150 credits).
• Demonstrated ability to think independently and make sound decisions based on your education and practical experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, follow through on requests, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
