Position Summary:
This position reports to the Manager of Behavioral Health Crisis and receives direction from the Clinical Nurse Manager of the department in which you are floated. You will provide both direct and indirect clinical services to children, adolescents, and adults requiring behavioral health care. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Crisis assessment and intake
- Individual, group, and family therapy
- Creating treatment plans and conducting case management
- Collaborating with teams and educating patients and families
- Triage and discharge planning

Education/Certification:
A Master’s degree in a behavioral health field is required along with state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LADC. CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory. You will be required to complete PMT and de-escalation training within six months of hire.
Experience:
Prior experience in the behavioral health field is essential, with preference for specific service settings. Age-specific competency is mandatory.

- Strong clinical, communication, and multitasking skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you are expected to:
- Assess bio-psychosocial information effectively
- Develop and modify treatment plans in a timely manner
- Make appropriate referrals to the least restrictive settings
- Complete all necessary documentation in compliance with applicable standards
- Actively participate in team meetings to enhance patient outcomes
- Communicate consistently and effectively with team members
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development relevant to the age group served
- Adapt to fluctuating staffing needs of the department
- Educate patients and families using appropriate resources
- Establish rapport and show empathy in clinical interactions
- Facilitate skill development through planned interventions
- Handle emergency situations accordingly
