Responsibilities:

Benefits:

Work with the HR Director to administer health, wellness and all benefit programs for hourly, salary, full-time and part-time employees

Design and Manage the benefits communication plan by designing, producing and disseminating. Create materials based on method: mail, email, flyer, or as requested and ensure timely delivery and deployment

Ensures annual reporting and compliance testing are submitted to internal departments and external agencies on time, proving enough time for internal stake-holders to review and approval as needed

Carefully and routinely reviews enrollments, changes and qualifying life event eligibility to all health, wellness and retirement and benefit programs and ensures updates are entered into HRIS as well as processed through payroll

Manages the annual benefit open enrollment process as well as the new-hire or qualifying event enrollment process for eligible team members
Reviews and reconciles routine benefits invoices to ensure accuracy prior to processing for payment
Process and follow up on disability claims, including Coordinating with other HR department representatives for accurate payroll and HRIS updates, notifying appropriate managers and Leadership of leave approvals
Manage and maintain the Leave of Absence claims and approvals to ensure compliance. Including reviewing documentation and responding within policy time limits. Tracking leave dates and intermittent dates and coordinating with HR department representatives for payroll and HRIS updates
Assists with HR/Payroll related questions regarding benefits, payroll or other human resources questions.
Assists other HR Representatives with New-Hire Orientation, including updating slides, creating engaging content, and collaborating with Talent Development Recruiting

Payroll:

Ensure the input of accurate payroll information into ADP Workforce Now

Follows up with Managers to correct missed punches and ensure timesheets are approved in a timely manner in ADP
Helps maintain service level standards for HR/Payroll Ticket requests and escalates to HR Director when needed
Communicates with employees and other departments to answer questions and resolve payroll and benefit problems

Maintains payroll and benefit record requirements for accounting of salary, benefits, accruals, and deductions

Serves as backup to Payroll Specialist for processing ADP Workforce Now Payroll

Maintains strict confidentiality regarding employee compensation and other sensitive and/or protected data

Provide technical assistance to employees on how to make changes in ADP Workforce Now such as updating direct deposit information, W-4, vacation, PFTO/Sick requests, etc

Qualifications:

3 years of experience as a payroll specialist or HR generalist

3 years of working with ADP WorkforceNow

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, accounting, administration, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to work in a team as well as follow through independently to complete tasks as required/ Self-starter mentality

Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written. Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
