Bilingual Writer/Editor (Mandarin)

As a Bilingual Writer/Editor, you will be engaged in reading Chinese novels for inspiration and write originals inspired by K-Drama. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in writing and must possess adequate knowledge and interest in K-Drama in addition to verbal and written proficiency in Mandarin . You will need to be able to make sense out of chaos, find the right connections and problem solve.

Recent graduates or anyone seeking entry-mid level position with 2-3 years writing background and strong interest in story writing (preferably in romance/drama) would be ideal for this role.


  • Reading Chinese novels as a reference to understand themes and plots for writing original stories
  • Analyze data and lay out a plan for optimization by reading the content and identifying the issue
  • Write original content and occasionally work with published content
  • Understand the data and usage of content for in-app retention, book retention optimization, chapter conversion, new user tutorials, marketing promotions, etc.
  • Ability and comfortable in writing young adult romance/drama content


  • Strong creative writing skills (romance/ drama preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in History, English, Fine Arts or Creative Writing
  • Strong communication skills, bilingual in English and Mandarin
  • Comprehensive historical and current knowledge of online reading or publishing industry
  • Strong interest in reading novels (K-dramas)
  • Passion for working in the content related field and past experience would be an asset
  • Ability to work well under pressure and possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work in different time zones
  • Strong passion to learn and gain experience in the gaming industry
  • Ability to work in fast pace start up environment
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment (Mon-Thur On-Site, Friday -WFH)
