The BCBA will develop Behavior Analytic interventions based on empirically validated research and monitor effectiveness of the interventions. The BCBA will be responsible for maintaining, updating, analyzing, and ensuring correct implementation of ABA techniques with children with autism spectrum disorder or other Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The BCBA will be responsible for behavior assessments, skills assessments, parent training, program development and behavioral intervention and training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Assessments and evaluations as necessary for individuals served including but not limited to Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills, Verbal Behavior Milestone Assessment and Placement Program.
Develop clear behavior reduction plans based upon the hypothesized function of the challenging behavior.
Develop clear skill acquisition programs and targets based upon results of skill assessment.
Data analysis and monitoring of intervention plans.
Hands-on implementation, monitoring and adjustment of intervention plans.
Provide mandatory parent and caregiver training to individuals families enrolled in the program.
Provide staff training to the Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who are implementing the behavioral treatment of the individual.
Provide clinical training, supervisor, and tracking to ensure RBT staff are maintaining the RBT credential.
Participate and collaborate in treatment plan meetings, ARD meetings, and other planning meetings as needed.
Ensures that Skills Assessments are updated every 6 months (VB-MAPP) and follows job flow to have those entered the spreadsheet for tracking.
Submits for reauthorization of treatment in a timely manner and in accordance with the childs funding source.
Effectively communicates with Program Manager concerns and suggestions to foster an environment of continuous improvement.
Models courteous and professional behaviors and interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Delivers 24 hours of billable service per week.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis or related field with emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Minimum of one year experience in delivery of ABA to the autism population
Experience working with children ages 3 to 12
Experience with Autism specific ABA/PBS program development and training.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math skills required for this position.
Ability to work with reports and numbers.
Ability to calculate moderately complex figures and amounts to accurately report activities.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Ability to utilize Internet for resources.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Current State of Texas Driver License or if you live in another state, must be currently licensed in that state. If licensed in another state, must obtain Texas Driver License within three (3) months of employment.
Liability insurance required if employee will operate personal vehicle on Center property or for Center business. Must be insurable by Centers liability carrier if employee operates a Center vehicle or drives personal car on Center business. Must have an acceptable driving record.
Board Certification- Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Licensed Board Analysis (LBA) with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR)
Bi- annual training in CPR and annual training in SAMA
