Chinese-speaking Television News Editor; FT; On-site

 


KTSF is seeking a full-time Editor for live Chinese-language television news broadcasts. The Editor is responsible for ensuring that all news material contained in newscast is factual, balanced, clear, consistent and appropriate for broadcast; Editor controls the content and length of newscast through the addition/deletion of stories and provides feedback to writers/reporters regarding story content. Requirements include 10 years of translation work in the news media or equivalent, knowledge of media law, excellent command of Chinese and English, ability to meet critical deadlines and work in collaborative manner with other staff and the public.  Salary range is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
