The Host/ess plays a crucial role in our restaurant's success, managing the flow of guests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves creating a positive first and last impression for our guests while supporting our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer calls cheerfully and efficiently, taking messages when necessary.
• Greet guests upon arrival and thank them sincerely as they depart.
• Manage To-Go orders, including taking, packaging, and processing payments.
• Ensure accurate billing and cash handling, including tracking coupons and promotions.
• Provide detailed information about our restaurant and menu offerings.
• Maintain a clean and organized arrival area throughout your shift.
• Monitor restaurant flow, including guest arrivals, departures, and table turnover.
• Collaborate with service staff to reset tables quickly and efficiently.
• Clean up any spills or breakages promptly.
• Keep menus and service materials clean and organized.
• Communicate guest needs to management and service staff as needed.
• Efficiently page and seat guests, ensuring their comfort while they wait.
• Assist in the sales of gift cards.
• Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms and lobby areas, wiping down surfaces as needed.
• Welcome and assist job applicants during their visits.
• Ensure walkways are safe and clear inside and outside.
• Facilitate locating guests for phone calls or messages.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return soon.
