Your Role:
As a Caregiver at Clare Bridge, you will:
- Provide compassionate care to residents, supporting their daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and dining.
- Foster relationships by knowing and acknowledging each resident's preferences and life stories.
- Engage residents through meaningful activities while promoting their independence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of residents' health and emotional conditions, reporting any changes promptly.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all residents, adhering to precise cleaning schedules.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and the needs of residents.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, with three to six months of related experience preferred. Understanding of dementia care, particularly Alzheimer’s, is beneficial. Must be compliant with state regulations regarding caregiving and medication assistance.
Physical Demands:
The position requires physical activity such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, along with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals.
