Your Role Includes:

  • Managing complex insurance claims and conducting detailed investigations for incidents like fire, theft, and false pretense claims.
  • Preparing precise damage estimates with advanced estimating systems.
  • Leading investigations into subrogation, salvage disposal, and fraud cases.
  • Training dealers and performing loss prevention reviews.
  • Remaining on-call during catastrophic weather events and being prepared for substantial overnight travel, especially during storm season (March-August).

Travel Requirements:

This is a travel-intensive role, requiring 50-70% overnight travel across Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana. You may also be deployed to national catastrophic loss sites during storm seasons, often with minimal notice. Expect periods of extended travel to address large-scale inventory losses and other claims at various locations.

Your Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two years in claims adjusting and estimating.
  • Experience using computerized estimating systems and strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to secure or maintain an adjuster license in your home state within the first 90 days.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, often with short notice.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Experience in catastrophe loss adjusting with a major insurance carrier.
  • Additional state adjuster licenses.
  • Technical or mechanical background related to vehicle repair processes.
  • Strong communication skills, customer service focus, and ability to work independently and creatively solve problems.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • 3+ years of claims adjusting experience.
