Schedule: Sunday - Thursday | Dispatch 11:00 PM

Your Responsibilities

• Safely transport empty and loaded trailers between designated locations.
• Perform trailer hook/unhook procedures with care.
• Verify that all loads are securely fastened before transport to ensure safety.
• Return damaged products and customer returns when applicable.

Requirements

• A valid Class A CDL is required.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Maintain a safe driving record.

Additional Information:
As a Shuttle Truck Operator, you will play an essential role in our operations by transporting trailers to and from designated warehouse locations safely and efficiently, adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will also communicate with customers and colleagues professionally, functioning as a valuable team member.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting thorough pre/post trip inspections on vehicles and trailers to ensure compliance with DOT safety standards.
• Reporting safety issues and repairs promptly.
• Following DOT regulations and company driving guidelines strictly.
• Ensuring all necessary route paperwork is complete and accessible during dispatch.
• Driving and delivering trailers on a predetermined route schedule.
• Performing safe hook/unhook procedures as needed.
• Parking and storing trailers in designated areas securely.
• Collecting damaged goods for return and completing the necessary paperwork.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in vehicles and loading dock areas.
• Completing daily records of hours of service in accordance with DOT and company regulations.
• Carrying out general housekeeping duties as required.
• Other related duties as assigned to best serve the company.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Meet all state licensing and certification requirements (as applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
• Ability to work the required shift/schedule.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or ability to secure one.
• Capable of lifting and utilizing equipment to move freight of varying sizes, generally weighing between 60 and 90 pounds.
