Job Description:

Compensation:
Drivers at our facility earn between $95,000 - $115,000 annually, with an average of $105,000 per year. You will be paid weekly and we’re offering a $5,000 bonus for new hires!

Home Time:
Our drivers enjoy a mix of local and regional work. Currently, our drivers average being out 1 night every other week. There may be weeks where drivers are home every night, and others where they stay out longer. Bulkmatic covers hotel accommodations and provides per diem for overnight stays.
About the Role:
As a driver at Bulkmatic, expect a more physically engaging role compared to many other driving jobs. Approximately two-thirds of your time will involve driving, while the remaining time will be focused on loading and unloading using pneumatic systems and interacting with customers. We offer comprehensive training on our safety protocols and equipment. No prior pneumatic experience is required!

Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 23 years old to operate a commercial vehicle interstate.
- Valid Class A CDL with a minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Driving experience must be within the last 10 years, with preference given to the last 5 years.
- Military driving experience is also considered.
- Ability to read and speak English to interact with the public, understand highway signs, respond to inquiries, and document information on reports.
- Must be physically and mentally fit to drive and possess a valid medical certificate as required by FMCSA.
- Must not be disqualified from driving a commercial vehicle under FMCSA regulations.
- Must fulfill all requirements and be able to perform essential job functions.
- Must maintain a valid CDL Class A license in your state of residence, or adapt to a new state license within 30 days if recently relocated.
- Hazmat endorsement may be necessary at certain locations, while tank endorsements are not required for dry bulk.
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- No speeding violations over 15 mph in the last 3 years.
- No convictions for careless or reckless driving in the past 3 years.
- No improper lane change violations in the last 3 years.
- No handheld device or distraction-related violations in the past year.
- No alcohol or drug-related violations in the last 10 years.
- Preventable accidents within the past 3 years should not include: head-on, rollover, rear-end, jackknife, or striking the side of another vehicle.
- No more than 1 preventable road accident allowed in the last 3 years.
- No combination of more than 1 preventable road accident and 1 preventable off-road accident in the last 3 years.
- No more than 2 preventable off-road accidents in the last 3 years.
- No safety-related suspensions or suspensions resulting from prior citations/violations in the last 10 years.
- No more than 1 administrative suspension in the last 3 years, and not more than 2 in the last 5 years.
