Central Sterile Processing Tech - Savannah

Job Description:

Optim Surgery Center is seeking a full time Central Sterile Processing Tech for our Savannah location.

Job Requirements:

Assembles instruments, equipment, and supplies required for surgical procedures according to Physician's preference Cards, AAMI standards, and IFU.
Cleans, decontaminates, wraps, and sterilizes equipment and instruments.
Monitors biological indicators for evidence of complete sterilization
Maintains sterilization records
Maintains supplies and restocks Central Service and implant trays
Maintains proficiency in knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and AAMI standards.
Participates in the performance Improvement related to sterile processing
Assist to turn over of OR's as needed.
Performs routine cleaning of Autoclaves, Sterrad, washers and maintains sterility log. Notifies Manager if repairs are needed.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
