Duties and Responsibilities of Recreation Therapist:

Develop and establish programs and treatment plans suited to resident needs and interests
Engage residents in therapeutic activities
Confer with physicians, therapists and other staff members regarding the treatment needs of residents.
Coordinate the recreation therapy program with other disciplines
Record and analyze resident progress and evaluate interventions for effectiveness
Other tasks as assigned

Requirements of CTRS:

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist credential
Valid State of Michigan's Driver's License
Current auto insurance
