About the Role
The Company is on the lookout for a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to spearhead its community health plan. This pivotal role comes with the responsibility of steering overall operations, shaping and executing company policies and procedures, and setting both short- and long-term objectives. Key duties include approving the annual budget, guaranteeing financial viability, and closely monitoring enrollment, revenue, and expenditures.
The CEO will also manage contractual engagements with health plan sponsors and government regulators, devise reimbursement strategies, and assess clinical and quality plans. A collaborative approach with government relations and legal teams, alongside providing regular updates to the Board of Directors, is essential for success in this role.
Ideal candidates should hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree in a relevant field, accompanied by at least ten years of experience as a healthcare executive, especially in managed care. A solid foundation in Medicaid managed care, encompassing regulations, rate setting, and compliance, is critical, along with a proven leadership track record in strategic, financial, and operational domains. Experience in member engagement, social determinants of health, and community-based models tailored for Medicaid members is highly desirable.
