This role is perfect for someone with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for the safety and well-being of children from one to twelve years old. As the Children's Activity Center Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and excel in communication with parents, children, and staff.
Essential Purpose: Lead, coach, and train the Childcare team to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Childcare facility, ensuring a secure environment for children ages 1 to 12.
- Supervise activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist with hiring and training of Kids Club staff, including Assistant Managers and Childcare Associates.
- Schedule shifts and maintain appropriate child-to-staff ratios during operating hours.
- Manage child reservations and agreements while maintaining effective parent communication.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to align team goals and ensure smooth operations.
- Implement emergency procedures and maintain first aid protocols for the Childcare area.
- Keep accurate attendance records and ensure licensing compliance.
- Develop age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts for the children.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the gym, including regular facility checks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents by addressing inquiries and feedback promptly.
- Communicate Kids Club policies and updates effectively with parents and staff.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere and positive relationships within the Childcare area.
- Support front desk operations and overall gym activities when childcare is not in session.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in childcare or similar environments.
- Understanding of child development principles and relevant safety guidelines.
- Passion for nurturing children's growth and creating an enriching atmosphere.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and staff.
- Flexible availability for evening and weekend shifts as required.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.

Requirements:
- Must pass a background check.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to work effectively in a gym setting and communicate with various stakeholders.
- Physical ability to lift over 40 lbs and navigate the gym environment.
- Capable of operating company computer systems for documentation and communication.
Hourly Pay Range: $17-$18 USD
