This Engineering position can be filled at either the Mid-level or Senior Engineer level. Please refer to the minimum qualifications listed below for each level.

Expected salary range:

  • Mid-Level - $88,000 - $108,000
  • Senior Level - $115,000 - $141,000

Salary ranges are per year and are based on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level Engineer

  • B.S. in Engineering, with at least 2 years of Nuclear experience or related engineering experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior Engineer

  • B.S. in Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of Nuclear experience or related engineering experience.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations, making important technical decisions while applying extensive knowledge in functional disciplines as well as applicable industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide thorough technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
  • Consult and provide technical expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
  • Manage engineering tasks to ensure they are completed accurately and timely.
  • Undertake engineering tasks assigned by supervisors, applying engineering principles effectively.
  • Ensure all work meets standards for accuracy, completeness, and configurational management, adhering to design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes.
  • Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
  • Propose equipment, new concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify construction processes, reduce costs, or comply with new codes or regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with over 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Proven solid performance over 5 or more years, with the most recent 2 years in the top half of the Engineer 2 band.
  • Demonstrated competencies in FLS.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • PA Professional Engineer License.
