Clinical Nurse - General Pediatrics, Nights

Join our dedicated team in General Pediatrics, where you can make a difference in the lives of patients and families! We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse to work 36 hours per week during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform necessary treatments, ensuring documentation complies with policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions effectively.
• Assess patient needs and evaluate responses to care provided, applying sound nursing judgment to inform decisions.
• Deliver primary and emergency care for a range of injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications as prescribed, both over-the-counter and by prescription.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care tailored to each patient.
• Guide and direct ancillary personnel while upholding the highest nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Active New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• 1-3 years of previous registered nursing experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with quality improvement concepts and the ability to apply problem-solving techniques to enhance patient care quality.
