Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

Unit Description:
B3 is a large in-patient post-surgical unit featuring 36 private patient rooms. We provide care for patients transitioning from the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Step-down Unit, Emergency Department, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Our diverse service population includes Trauma, Orthopedics, ENT, Thoracic, Plastics, and Bariatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document treatments according to company policies and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs and their responses to care provided.
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer medications as ordered.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to establish a comprehensive Plan of Care for each patient.
  • Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
