Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) is a specialized 17-bed cardiac intensive care unit designed for adult patients (age 18 and older) experiencing critical cardiac issues. Our highly trained nurses provide essential care, including continuous EKG monitoring for serious dysrhythmias and emergency interventions as per American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiac Life Support guidelines.

In our CCU, you will develop and utilize key nursing skills including:

• Implementing physician orders and administering medications
• Starting IVs and performing essential treatments and procedures
• Monitoring patients with Impella devices, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, and Pulmonary Artery Catheters
• Documenting care as required by regulations and policy
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions
• Communicating effectively with the nursing team to develop individualized care plans
• Evaluating patient needs and responses to treatments
• Providing both primary and emergency care
• Guiding and directing support staff while upholding professional nursing standards
