Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform necessary treatments following company policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions efficiently.
• Assess and evaluate patients' needs and their responses to care provided.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment to make informed care management decisions.
• Provide effective primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to devise a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
• Guide ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.
• Familiarity with quality concepts and problem-solving tools, demonstrating the ability to enhance departmental and patient care quality.
