Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and adhere to documentation requirements as per company policy and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patient conditions.
  • Assess patient needs and evaluate responses to care rendered.
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in making care management decisions.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer both over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license is required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained and maintained.
  • 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving tools, with the ability to apply them for departmental and patient care improvement.
