Clinical Nurse I - General Pediatrics, Nights

Position Details:

• Department: General Pediatrics - C7
• Work Shift: Nights
• Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders and administer medications while ensuring proper documentation as per company policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed medications accurately.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to establish a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
• Guide and direct ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from a recognized professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree).
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with quality improvement concepts and problem-solving techniques.
