Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments and procedures, and documents care in accordance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to thoroughly assess patients' conditions.
  • Conducts comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and evaluates responses to provided care.
  • Utilizes sound nursing judgment in the management of patient care decisions.
  • Provides essential and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Dispenses over-the-counter and prescription medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborates with the nursing team to formulate a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Guides and directs ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
  • Must possess a current New York State Registered Nurse license.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required and must be maintained.
  • 1-3 years of prior clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings.
  • Excellent communication skills along with strong prioritization, organization, and time management abilities.
  • Knowledgeable in quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving techniques, with the ability to apply them toward departmental and patient care quality improvement initiatives.
