Clinical Nurse I - Labor & Delivery - Night Shift

This role requires a commitment to work nights (36 hours/week) and includes a weekend and holiday obligation.

Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

As a Clinical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments, all while documenting care as per company policies and relevant regulations.
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions effectively.
• Assessing and evaluating patient needs and responses to the care provided.
• Applying sound nursing judgments in managing patient care decisions.
• Providing primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administering over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborating with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
• Directing and guiding ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional nursing program leading to a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is necessary.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills are essential.
• Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and the ability to apply them in patient care practices.
