Clinical Nurse I: Med/Surg Float Pool - Night Shift

Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

Experience caring for a diverse patient population, including step down care, cardiac monitoring, and acute rehab, among others. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, and document care as required by company policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions effectively.
• Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care rendered.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Deliver primary and emergency care for a variety of patient needs.
• Administer medications (both over-the-counter and prescription) as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
• Guide and direct ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Previous experience as a PCA or in another nursing assistance role is preferred.
• A commitment to continuous education and professional development.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and principles with the ability to apply them to improve patient care quality.
