Job Description
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, while ensuring thorough documentation as per company policies and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to effectively identify and assess patients' conditions.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of patient needs and responses to care provided.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment to guide patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as mandated.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and mentor ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.
Job Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited academic nursing program conferring a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree.
- Possess a current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Exhibit excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving techniques, applying them to enhance departmental and patient care quality improvement.
Salary Range: $33.00/hr - $63.98/hr
