Clinical Nurse I - Medical/Surgical Pulmonary Renal Unit

Position Overview:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, conduct special tests, and document all actions per company policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patients' conditions.
• Evaluate patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries.
• Administer prescribed and over-the-counter medications as needed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to establish comprehensive care plans for all patients.
• Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is essential.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply problem-solving techniques in patient care.

Salary Range: $72,072.00 - $74,229.26
