Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) is a 17-bed specialized cardiac critical care environment, designed to provide comprehensive care to adult patients (18 years and older) experiencing life-threatening cardiac conditions. Our dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs) is equipped to offer continuous EKG monitoring and to implement emergency measures following the American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA-ACLS) Guidelines.

As a Clinical Nurse in the CCU, you will gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills including:

• Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and procedures in compliance with company policy and local/state/federal regulations.
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess and identify patient conditions.
• Assessing patient needs and evaluating responses to the provided care.
• Applying sound nursing judgment in patient management decisions.
• Providing primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administering both over-the-counter and prescription medications as per medical orders.
• Collaborating closely with the nursing team to outline and implement comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
• Directing and guiding ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.
