Clinical Nurse I - Night Shift Float Pool

Join our dedicated team in the Float Pool, where compassion meets excellence in patient care! As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive and caring environment for our patients and their families.

Position Summary:

• Implement physician orders and administer medications, ensuring precise documentation in line with company policies and regulations.
• Evaluate patients' conditions by ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Assess and tailor care to meet individual patient needs, applying your nursing judgment to enhance management decisions.
• Provide both primary and emergency care for a variety of injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications as prescribed, maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive care plans for all patients.
• Guide and support ancillary personnel, upholding high standards of professional nursing practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a must.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
• Strong skills in communication, prioritization, organization, and time management.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques is essential for ongoing patient care improvement.
