Clinical Nurse II - Colorectal Surgery & Urology (Nights, 36hrs/week)

Join our dedicated team in the Colorectal Surgery and Urology Unit, where we care for patients post-surgery in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our unit consists of 22 semi-private rooms designed for optimal patient recovery.

About the Role: As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be responsible for:

• Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments according to company policies and regulations.
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Assessing, evaluating, and responding to patient needs throughout their care journey.
• Applying sound nursing judgment to make informed patient care management decisions.
• Collaborating with a skilled nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
• Directing and guiding ancillary personnel to maintain high professional nursing standards.

Key Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
• A commitment to ongoing education for continuous improvement in nursing practice.
