Salary Range: $72,072.00 - $74,229.26

In this role, you will:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document care as required by policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care provided.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed over-the-counter and prescription medications.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Care Plans for all patients.
• Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving tools, with the ability to apply them for patient care quality improvement.
