The Clinical Nurse plays an essential role in fostering a nurturing atmosphere for patients, their families, and colleagues through acts of kindness and considerate communication. Your valuable contributions are critical to achieving our mission of exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, perform treatments, and carry out special tests while documenting all actions as per company policy and regulatory standards.
• Order, interpret, and assess diagnostic tests to ensure a comprehensive understanding of patients' conditions.
• Evaluate patient needs and responses to care provided, ensuring high quality and effective treatment.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
• Provide immediate and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed medications and oversee over-the-counter medications as directed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care tailored to each patient.
• Guide and direct ancillary staff while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from a recognized nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree).
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license is required.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality principles and problem-solving techniques to support patient care quality improvement.
