Department/Unit: General Surgery/Trauma-B3

Work Shift: Day (United States of America)

Salary Range: $72,072.00 - $74,229.26

Hourly Range: $34.65 - $35.69

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments, procedures, and diagnostic tests in accordance with company policy and relevant regulations.
• Evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess patient conditions and needs.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to care provided, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
• Apply strong nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provide immediate and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications as per physician orders, including both over-the-counter and prescription drugs.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive care plans for all patients.
• Guide and oversee support personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, receiving a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license is mandatory.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained and maintained.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is required.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of quality management principles and problem-solving techniques to support departmental and patient care quality improvement initiatives.
