Salary Range: $72,072.00 - $74,229.26

About the Role: Join our dedicated team at Albany Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse II in our Hematology/Oncology department. We are seeking compassionate and skilled nurses who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and managing the needs of patients throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders and administer medications, ensuring accurate and prompt treatment delivery.
• Perform diagnostic tests and evaluate results to assess patients' conditions.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop individualized Plans of Care for each patient.
• Provide emergency care for injuries and illnesses as needed.
• Direct and support ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience as a PCA or other nursing assistance is preferred.
• Commitment to continual education for professional development.
