Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, initiate IV therapy, perform treatments and procedures, and document care according to company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patients' conditions.
• Conduct thorough assessments to determine patient needs and monitor responses to care.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed medications as per orders.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop individualized Plans of Care for patients.
• Guide and supervise ancillary staff while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a recognized nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree).
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles and ability to apply them in patient care settings.
