Clinical Nurse II - Neuro Progressive Care

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments and procedures in compliance with company policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Assess patient needs and responses to care effectively.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications as prescribed, both over-the-counter and prescription.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for patients.
• Guide ancillary staff and uphold professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is essential.
• Strong skills in communication, prioritization, organization, and time management.
• Knowledge of quality principles, concepts, and problem-solving techniques, with the ability to contribute to quality improvement in patient care.
