Salary Range: $72,072.00 - $74,229.26

Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our team in providing exceptional care to our orthopedic trauma and elective orthopedic patients during night shifts. In this role, you will create a nurturing environment for patients and their families, while demonstrating kindness and active listening. As a Clinical Nurse II, your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documenting treatment according to company policies and regulations.
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Assessing and evaluating patient needs and responses to care rendered.
• Applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Providing primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administering over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
• Collaborating with the nursing team to create and implement a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
• Directing and guiding ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.
