Join our dedicated team at Albany Medical Center in the Vascular Surgery Unit, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients with vascular conditions. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will manage and coordinate the care of patients, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience throughout their treatment journey.

Work Shift: Night

Salary Range: $72,072.00 - $74,229.26

As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will:

  • Implement physician orders and administer medications effectively.
  • Perform treatments, procedures, and special tests while meticulously documenting your actions per company policies and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
  • Assess patient needs and responses to nursing care, using sound judgment for care management decisions.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and maintain individualized Plans of Care.
  • Guide ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree).
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Understanding of quality improvement principles and the ability to apply them in a nursing context.
