Clinical Nurse III: Critical Care Float Pool - Night Shift

Join our dynamic, highly skilled Nursing team and take the opportunity to work in all the Critical Care areas at the Region's only Level I trauma center. We are looking for compassionate and caring individuals to contribute to the well-being of patients, families, and colleagues.

Position Overview:

• Implement physician orders and administer medications
• Start IVs and perform treatments, procedures, and special tests
• Document treatment in accordance with company policy and regulations
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
• Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
• Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care
• Guide ancillary personnel and uphold professional nursing standards

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree)
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques
